Alpine Village
Morzine has capitalised on its many assets to offer year-round attractions and its summer season is as established as its winter one. There are chocolate-box chalets and horse-drawn carriages co-existing alongside state-of-the-art uplift right from the village, to allow you to make the utmost of your skiing, boarding, biking or walking, then enjoy that alpine charm at the end of a day.
Morzine in the Winter
The snow record in the Portes du Soleil is exceptionally good thanks to the microclimate created by the prevailing wind direction from the South West in combination with the proximity of Mont Blanc. Between mid-December and mid-April, visitors are assured of snow on the well-maintained slopes.
Morzine in the Summer
In peak summer, the weather is regularly warm and sunny with a massive range of activities to do and there’s a busy weekly market selling regional produce, reminding you that you are really in France!
Local Events
Morzine Tourist Office has worked hard to ensure that it stays firmly on the map as a dynamic year-round resort.
Getting There
Another of the many benefits of Morzine is its proximity to Geneva airport, meaning you can be off the plane and in your accommodation in only a couple of hours, without a seemingly endless coach journey. We recommend Skiidy Gonzales, a local transfer company – they offer Morzine Magic guests a discount. If you are self-driving, we have parking at all our apartments. Having a car in summer is a real boon to let you make the most of the region.
